Snittrup Østergård is a well-run cattle farm that is offered in full operation with 160 annual cows and an adjoining land of 124 ha, located in the northern part of Varde municipality.
The farmhouse was built in 1925, but is continuously maintained and modernized, so that today it appears as a contemporary home of 280 m2, of which 95 m2 is on the 1st floor. Backyard + bathroom is from 2004, roof is from 2006 and kitchen and living room are from 2008. The 1st floor contains 3 smaller rooms, 1 large room and a large attic.
The operating buildings consist of a building of 247 m2 from 2001 which contains a boiler room and a barn with a workshop. A machine house of 156 m2 from 1969 with a newer roof. Loose housing from 1995/1998 of 2,068 m2, containing 174 beds for cows, 120 beds for heifers and 2 calving boxes. 2 x 7 SAC herringbone milking parlor and milking parlor with 10,000 L cooling tank. Extension of the stable from 2000/2006, which is partly feed-laden and partly contains 6 stalls with calves on deep bedding with room for 6 calves in each, as well as a number of older single boxes.
