Extremely well-run pig production, built as a bare field project, where transport, logistics and infection protection are completely optimal,
probably one of the very best plants for 7.kgs production in Denmark.
The stable buildings appear in very good and reliable condition, built in concrete elements with the sister and roof of steel profiles. The plant is
built on open field, and has a great distance to the nearest settlement, as well as a reasonably long distance to the nearest pig production.
The plant is extremely rational with 2 wet feed tanks and a dry feed mixer. Feed supply from own grinding / mixing plant with
storage capacity for 8 months feed consumption in 2 American silos and feed barn. In total, there is capacity for approx. 1,580 lakes.
The feed center is built as an integral part of the entire stable system. Furnished with grinding / mixing system and separate grain pit.
Administration, changing and canteen facilities are an integral part of the entrance area and appear very presentable.
The system is well thought out and dimensioned to the smallest detail - a thoroughly super-efficient sowing system that is only rarely used
The production plant:
The feed center is built as an integral part of the entire stable system. It is equipped with painting / mixing systems, indoor silos and
separate grain pit. Feed supply is therefore from own Skiold plant. The 2 wet feed tanks are for the lakes, which ensures the best possible working conditions for
staff. In addition to the production of the sow feed, the dry feed mixer is set up to mix dry feed for the smallest of the piglets, as well as the places where it
may be a desire to allocate dry food, such as to the piglets in the farrowing pen, etc. In the barn there is plenty of space for storage of dry goods and minerals.
There is additional grain storage capacity for 8 months of feed consumption in 2 American silos
The total capacity of the plant is approx. 1,580 lakes inc. own piglet production.
The farrowing stables have rear-facing farrowing paths, with plenty of space in the cave and path for both sows and pigs.
At the same time, there are places for breastfeeding pigs outside the farrowing pen, so that no capacity is lost there or compromised with health.
by leaving weaned pigs in the farrowing pen until sale.
Running departments with control places for both lakes and piglets, as well as catch boxes in part of the gestation stable. Some of the trails are included
half the number of catch boxes and wet feed in long troughs. This is to ensure the best possible utilization of the trail area, as well as provide the best conditions
for the lakes to take advantage of their natural social behavior.
All the stables appear bright and friendly, in some of the pregnancy stalls there are also skylights, which gives a natural light as
accommodates the well-being of both the pigs and the staff.
