Grundtoftgård is a dairy production company located on the peninsula, Kegnæs by Als in Southern Jutland.
Animal production is based on a permit for 425 year-old cows with breeding.
The company has a land area of 176.98 ha, of which approx. 158.8 ha are eligible and approx. 141.73 ha in rotation.
The farmhouse was built in 1973 as a single-storey house with a total living space of 206 sqm - of which 91 sqm is used by employees.
The farm buildings consist of a barn built in 2005 and since then extended. The stable is furnished with 440 beds in 6 rows with fixed floor and scraper and feeding table in the middle as well as curtains in the sides. At the end there are relief sections and area for 13 single boxes for the smallest calves. At the opposite end of the barn are deep bedding areas as well as 3 common boxes and fortified area for raw materials.
The milking parlor contains 2 x 17 SAC 60 degree milking parlors where power feed can be allocated. Heat management takes place with Heattime and 210 transponders. In the area of the milking parlor there is a milk room with a buffer tank of 6,000 l and an outdoor tank of 32,000 l. Cooling through a plate cooler, a depot as well as a storage office.
Parallel to the aforementioned barn, in 2014, stable sections with approx. 90 beds in three rows of mattresses and slots on the east side of the feed table, opposite the deep bedding area used for the start-up team. The barn has curtains in the side, to the north the barn is open, as it is prepared to be extended.
Between the two barn buildings is a fortified area with 28 single cabins and 4 communal cabins. Furthermore, acidification plant from J. Hyldegård - which runs twice daily.
To the west is a fortified area of approx. 140 x 32 m for storage of roughage. The area contains 3 planos silos of 10 m wide and 70 m long and approx. 2 m. High.
The original farm buildings continue to be used for breeding to a limited extent.
Smaller machine shop and 2 detachable slurry containers respectively. 3,500 and 450 kbm.
The building set on Nørre Landevej 67 consists of older charging buildings for storing machines, etc.
The building set at Skoven 2-4 is inhabited by employees.
