"Burmølle mink" is a well-run mink production company, with a license for a total of 18,150 yearlings.
Mink production today consists of approx. 16,000 yearlings, distributed on the 2 mink farms Burvej 87 and Bjergbyvej 28, located with approx. 35 km. distance.
At Burvej 87, production today consists of approx. 12,000 yearlings, placed in a rational production plant with a total of approx. 26,774 cages of which approx. 98 per cent. consists of stainless cages and nest boxes. The plant is continuously built / maintained, and there is continuous investment in fixtures and technical equipment to make workflows efficient, and future maintenance minimal. In addition to the mink farm there is a warehouse with a fur shop of 864 m², where the company annually pels approx. 48,000 skins. The remaining approx. 40,000 fur skins out. Furthermore, a slurry container of 3,250 m³ is available.
Ca. 200 m from the mink farm there is Burvej 83 where the operating buildings are used for drying / packaging and machine storage. In addition, a nice and well-maintained residence.
On Bjergbyvej 28, the production consists of a total of approx. 4,000 yearlings, located in continuously built production facilities with a total of approx. 9,732 burrum. The farm is built up continuously and the buildings are therefore of varying condition. The last expansion of the plant was in 2017, when approx. 2,070 cages in 13 rows in a former warehouse. Other operating buildings include service facilities. building with bath, toilets, rooms, office and lunch room. In addition, storage / machine warehouses for feed, grain, straw and machinery.
The pig production, with a license for 550 annual sows and the production of 7,000 slaughter pigs, is located a few km from Bur by between Vemb and Holstebro.
This site includes a total of 132.95 ha. divided into 3 consecutive units located at a short distance from each other. The earth is divided into approx. 103.4 ha. rough sanded soil (JB 1 - 2), approx. 4.5 ha. meadow / perm grass, approx. 16 nature with good hunting opportunities, and approx. 10 ha. building parcel, road shelters, etc. All ground except ca. 25.70 ha. has irrigation possibilities, with 3 irrigation permits with good capacity.
Pig production takes place at 2 sites located with approx. 3 km. distance. The production facilities are today leased to the same tenant who has terminated the leases on 31 March 2021.
At Stenumvej 9, the production today consists of 550 sows with production of 7 kg. pigs, in a continuously built and well-maintained production facility, with a good rational structure. The plant consists of a total of 144 danger paths and approx. 390 pregnancy / running st. pl. The entire property has JYDEN fixtures, SKOV ventilation, as well as FUNKI wet feeding facilities.
Borrisvej 4 consists of slaughter pig production facilities consisting of approx. 1,440 ordinary slst st. pl. (32 - 102) divided into 6 sections from 1999. In addition, FRATS butchery stalls with approx. 1,700 pcs. pl. (7 - 30 kg) renovated in 2005. The entire property has JYDEN fixtures, SKOV ventilation as well as Hyldgaard dry feeding system, which needs renovation. Furthermore, there are machine houses and 2 x 5,000 hpg. Dan Corn dry silos from 2015 with associated grain trench.
